City of Seabrook Gateway
In 2009, the City of Seabrook was the recipient of a beautification grant from the Houston-Galveston Area Council and the Economic Alliance – Houston Port Region. This grant was for the construction of a gateway that would identify Seabrook as a member city of the San Jacinto Historic District. The City also elected to contribute additional funds toward a project that would not only serve as a gateway to the City, but also as an economic development project.
Knudson led a project team of engineers and contractors to design and construct the arched gateway over the intersection of 10th Street and Todville Road. The sign was custom fabricated and installed on site by a local sign company.
In addition to design and construction document production, Knudson also served as project manager during the construction phase of the project.
