Knudson negotiated the abandonment and purchase of six (6) easements from the City of Houston while conveying a 25 foot wide stormsewer easement and 10 feet of street right-of-way (ROW) to the City of Houston on behalf of Client, GID Development Group, in order to develop the 24 acre property within IH-610. Specific scope included coordinating meetings with the City of Houston, creating proposals for abandonment with exhibits created by Carter & Burgess, and obtaining final approval of the easements’ abandonment and purchase from the City of Houston. Knudson facilitate the Joint Referral abandonment process from start to finish through coordination with the Client, Client’s civil engineer, Client’s surveyor, and if necessary, Client’s architect.
